Entrevista a Grisel Noemí Cardozo
La presidenta de San Martín, que inicia su vinculación con el club en el 98’ como tesorera y ocupa su cargo actual desde el 2005 realiza un repaso por su actividad en la dirigencia, la realidad deportiva de la institución, el futbol formoseño y la difícil tarea de entrar de ingresar siendo mujer al entorno futbolístico.
– ¿Qué cambios produjo su llegada a la presidencia?
– Mi primer mandato comienza en el 2005, en ese mismo año nos tocó salir campeones, después siguió en 2006, 2007 y 2008 consiguiendo ser tetracampeones indiscutidos. Nos propusimos para el club un recambio generacional buscando la unión entre la sangre nueva, la juventud con experiencia que dio como resultado el campeonato de 2011. Empezamos un proceso de trabajo formativo en el vóley y en el futbol de salón donde hoy se pueden apreciar sus frutos, tenemos un plantel genuino de futbol de salón con “franjeados”, las chicas del vóley que están a full jugando la liga, hay muchas jugadoras formoseñas que era lo que pretendíamos. El futbol infantil y las inferiores que están brindando el semillero que queríamos, ya desde hace dos años que estamos disfrutando de la producción de estas divisiones.
– ¿Cuáles son los objetivos que se planteó para el club?
– Mi primer objetivo fue el de salvar al club, cuando nos hicimos cargo el club estaba totalmente embargado, tenía muchos remates encima, entonces lo primero que queríamos, como personas que queríamos a la institución como hincha, era salvar a la institución, la infraestructura, el terreno, salvar todo, así en el 2001 pudimos subsanar todas las deudas. Además se trabajó en las diferentes disciplinas, con profesores que pusieron la espalda a la par nuestra, con jugadores que entendieron la situación y así fuimos levantando el club entre todos. Logramos nuestro primer grito de campeón en el 2000, cuando entramos a un torneo del interior que no conocíamos pero se logró el objetivo. Luego de que en el 2001 se pagaran todas las deudas ya nos propusimos como meta rearmar todas las disciplinas, ósea que cada gestión con el paso del tiempo tuvo objetivos diferentes. Todo empezó con salvar la infraestructura, rearmar las disciplinas, luego empezar a competir, competir en serio con ganas de salir campeón. Ahora, el objetivo más próximo es buscar la habilitación de nuestro campo de juego.
– ¿Que representa San Martín para la sociedad?
– San Martín es un pequeño monstruo, como siempre digo un pequeño gigante, pareciera un club chico pero si te detenes a mirarlo bien, a pensar todo lo que conlleva y todo lo que significa, San Martín es algo muy importante para la sociedad. Si bien es un club populoso y está enclavado en el populoso barrio San Francisco, hay que destacar que el club cuenta con jugadores del interior, estamos abarcando casi toda la provincia mostrando que el trabajo llega más allá, pero no hay que olvidarse que nosotros trabajamos mucho en lo social, somos un club social, cultural y deportivo, como está en las siglas del escudo, los chicos que vienen al club crecen en la faz deportiva pero también existe una obligatoriedad de estudio.
– ¿Que significa San Martín en Formosa?
– San Martín en Formosa se destaca, por infraestructura, en lo deportivo por la categoría en la que se encuentra actualmente, por ser un club que abarca muchas disciplinas, por traspasar las fronteras, con las juveniles se salió campeón en Chaco y Córdoba, pero también pasaron fronteras internacionales ya que salieron campeones en un torneo jugado en Brasil. Es muy importante San Martín para Formosa.
– ¿En qué situación cree que se encuentra el futbol formoseño?
– El futbol formoseño está creciendo, en la visión de esta presidenta está creciendo. Sí habría algo que cambiar tenemos que hacerlo entre todos, juntarnos todos los presidentes para ver qué es lo que tenemos que cambiar. Para nosotros lo que falta son los campos de juego, sería muy lindo que cada club tuviera su propia cancha, entonces se evitarían varios inconvenientes.
– ¿Cómo fue como mujer insertarse en un ambiente tan machista como es el futbol?
– Muy difícil, todos los días sigo rindiendo exámenes. Cuando empecé, todos querían conocer a Grisel, sentía por ahí que querían ponerme en ridículo, de que como una mujer podía ser presidenta de un club y más aún de futbol. Empecé a notar ese machismo ridículo, inclusive desde nuestro propio seno, tuve que luchar mucho para estar en el lugar que estoy, pero con los años creo que me he ganado el lugar y el respeto, porque esto es lo que me gusta y es lo que sé hacer aunque todos los días aprendo algo. El lugar me lo gane trabajando, mi personalidad y la formación que recibí de mis padres obviamente me ayudó mucho.
– ¿Existe alguien de su entorno que le sirva de soporte en su vida para afrontar el día a día del trabajo?
– Lo que me da mucha fuerza y es el bastión de todo el trabajo es mi familia, en esto estamos con mi esposo Florencio, que estamos casados hace 27 años, y entre los dos formamos una sola persona, la fuerza que me brindan mis hijas y mis padres que son lo que apuntalan todo lo que hago y me dan la energía necesaria porque es muy difícil estar acá, no tengo día de la madre, día del padre, no tenemos feriados, cuando la mayoría de la gente tiene descanso, los sábados y domingos para nosotros son los días de más trabajo, viajamos mucho fuera de Formosa por lo que desde hace mucho tiempo no se comparte un almuerzo familiar. Es difícil llegar a un lugar, pero más difícil es mantenerse y la familia es el medio que lo hace posible.
– “Criticarme es fácil ser como yo es difícil” ¿qué le dice esa frase?
– Tener que llevar este pequeño gigante sobre la espalda todos los días es difícil, hay que reunir muchas cosas como para bancarse esta posición, muchos creen que pueden dañarme con lo que gritan pero no saben que todo eso me da más fuerza e ímpetu para seguir.
