San Martín es finalista del Torneo Federal “C”

San Martín logró el pasaje a la final del Torneo Federal “C”, empató 1 a 1 con Defensores de Formosa en el cotejo revancha de semifinales, en la ida el “Franjeado” había ganado 2 a 1, por lo que en el global terminó imponiéndose 3 a 2.
Fue un intenso y entretenido partido con mucho público en las tribunas. El terreno estaba muy pesado por la intensa lluvia caída, lo que hizo que no se jugara el viernes como esta anunciado y se pospusiera para ayer.

La necesidad de ganar era para el conjunto Policial por el resultado del partido de ida. La particularidad del primer tiempo fue que San Martín tuvo mas tiempo la pelota y fue Defensores el que creó más posibilidades de gol.

De entrada fue Oscar Sosa el que tuvo un par de chances mal definidas; Marcelo Centurión quedó solo frente al arco y Gorosito le achicó muy bien el ángulo de tiro. Walter Galeano también tuvo su oportunidad pero su media vuelta se fue por arriba.

La más clara para San Martín fue de Richard Paniagua que falló en un golpe de cabeza tras un centro de Diego Espínola.
A los 36´ llegó la primera emoción. Sanabria mandó un centro al área de San Martín, saltaron varios, la pelota rozó la cabeza de Ángel Caballero y esta vez Gorosito nada pudo hacer. Defensores se fue a los vestuarios ganando 1 a 0.

En el segundo tiempo, San Martín salió con todo en busca de la igualdad para no llegar a los penales y Defensores bajó el ritmo de su rendimiento, aunque nunca renunció a ocupar espacios en el terreno rival.

Situaciones de gol se sucedieron frente a ambos arcos, pero el que lo encontró fue San Martín que pareció más entero físicamente.
Fue a los 31’ tras un intento ofensivo de los dirigidos por Galo Mareco, el equipo no quedó bien parado en defensa y la contra de los dirigidos por Héctor Chaparro fue letal. La encabezó y definió Richard Paniagua ante la desesperación del arquero Eric Benítez. Fue el 1 a 1 que no se modificó hasta el final y puso a San Martín a dos partidos de volver al Torneo Federal “B”.
