Cuando todos daban por muerto a San Martín este saco a relucir su garra y demostró que le gustan los retos difíciles, y se vio reflejado hoy con la actitud y el amor propio que reflejaron los jugadores dolidos por un partido de ida que fue para el olvido.
El DT «Chelo» Fernández convenció a los jugadores de que no era imposible y pudo hacer que los jugadores lo plasmen en el campo de juego.
Con goles de Gustavo Gómez, Williams García, en dos ocasiones y Oscar Giménez de penal sellaron el 4-3 en el global. Una nueva final para San Martín que va en busca de su sexto titulo en 12 años y segunda final consecutiva para «Chelo» Fernández en frente del plantel del torneo local.
